As of November 12, 2025, we ended signature collection and submitted signatures for certification on November 13. The Town Clerk notified the Select Board on November 23rd that the required 15% of registered voters on the petition was not met by the signatures submitted. Although we identified some problems that led us to question the accuracy of the certification number, we have reached the conclusion that a legal challenge to the certification does not have a realistic path to success. There will be no charter commission ballot question from this effort.
