We are Brookline residents, current and former Town Meeting Members and elected office holders who came together because we believe a smaller, year-round, compensated government structure (i.e. a city structure) might work better for today’s and tomorrow’s Brookline. We want voters to have the chance to elect a Charter Commission to study the question and bring voters a proposal for improving local leadership, vision, responsiveness, and accountability.
